Who We Are

Compassionate Care U (CCU) is a wellness-driven training and leadership organization dedicated to strengthening the caregiving workforce and the leaders who support it — from the inside out.

We work with Direct Support Workers (DSWs), CNAs, care agencies, and business owners operating in high-demand environments where burnout, turnover, and capacity strain are common.

Through state-based caregiver certification, leadership labs, workforce stability training, and wellness-centered education, CCU helps individuals and organizations build the skills, clarity, and sustainability needed to serve well without burning out.

At CCU, wellness isn’t an add-on.
It’s the foundation of sustainable leadership and quality care.

 

Why I Started CCU

There was a moment when I found myself pouring into a friend who was completely burned out. She was caring for everyone but herself — and I recognized the weight she carried because I had lived it too.

It hit me:

Caregivers.
Leaders.
Mothers.
Educators.
Agency staff.
Business owners.

Everyone reaches a breaking point.
And everyone deserves support before they get there.

I’ve worn many hats — author, educator, caregiver, single mother, advocate. At my core, I’ve always been a nurturer. But I also understand the cost of carrying responsibility without space to pause, reset, and think clearly.

Starting Compassionate Care U wasn’t just building a program — it was answering a calling.

CCU is my way of turning care into a movement.
A movement where we don’t just train people to serve others —
we teach them how to lead, care, and sustain themselves too.

This work is personal.
It’s sacred.
And it’s rooted in honoring the humanity behind every role we play.
